What you might have thought about hypnosis:
I'll be asleep / unaware
You'll remain aware of your surroundings, and able to respond if you need to. You'll awaken refreshed, calm and alert.
I'll be under the hypnotist's control Hypnosis for change is very different from hypnosis on stage, which aims only to entertain.
You can't be made to do anything which goes against your will or your morals, and you'll be in a very safe environment.
I have to believe in it for it to work Believing is a conscious process: Because change happens directly at the unconscious level, you don’t have to believe it will work – you just have to want it to.
I can't be hypnotised Everyone can be hypnotised – we all do it every day. People do vary in how long it takes them, or the depth of trance they reach.
